MTRILL TERIA, Na Wah ooooooooooooooo
Guys you can't help but notice this guy, a new kid on the block. Did I say new, no not that new like that but the guy is set to release his album very soon. I'm talking about MTRILL TERIA. This guy is just the bomb in phcity @ the moment with hit songs "Bounce" and "Where You Dey Girl" banging the airways of popular radio stations in that area. The guy is currently produced by Grafton Entertainment formerly with de Indispensibles a musical duo based in ph city as well. Let me go into his nitty gritty and tell you guys all about Mtrill, enjoy!!!! If skill could personalize its name…one of its names would be M.Trill. Since the first air play of his debut single "Bounce", we knew we would never be safe from the mastery that M.Trill possesses. The song "Bounce" burned up the radio and charts in the south-south region of Nigeria , being number one on Cosmos Fm in Enugu for weeks on end and being the most played Naija song on Rhythm 93.7 Fm in Port Harcourt all in 2004. This earned him more than just the usual accolades that accompany that kind of success, and before long pirates couldn't keep their hands off the club friendly jam, and in that same year 2004, he signed a record deal with Xcel music (also based in Port Harcourt) that should have seen him unleash his expertise upon us some where along the line it fell through and the album was held back. A gold fish, they say has no hiding place so it didn't come as a surprise that as soon as word got round that "Trill" (as he is fondly called) was leaving xcel music. Offers were coming from all quarters in and out of the state and country. It didn't take up to a month from his leaving xcel music mid 2005 that his story landed on the table of Big T the CEO of Grafton Entertainment, who's label is run both in the U.k and Nigeria. They say ''Game recognise game'' and Mtrill signed a record deal with U.K and Nigerian based music label Grafton records. M.trill (M meaning mayjah, pronounced major) was born on the 18 th of May in Nigeria .The fifth of all his siblings, they decide to name him "Teria". He did his primary schooling at Air Force Primary School, Ikeja in Lagos . He also did his Secondary education at Federal Government College Warri, Delta state and later Federal Government College Odogbolu, Ogun state where he finished up. His tertiary education was done at the University of Port Harcourt , Rivers State where he studied Geology. He graduated in 2004 and immediately sought a career in music with record deals at his disposal. To him, talent is worth exploring and so he's bent on showing the world what he has to offer. Apart from, being the hottest rap artist in Port Harcourt . M.trill has got such good "school boy" looks that have the girls constantly on his case. Armed with a humble nature and a very strong Christian background, M.trill has an in-depth knowledge of hip-hop that he believes gives him the edge over most other Naija rappers. He has been likened to be a cross between rappers, Mase and Kanye west, this he abhors because he feels that it is wrong to compare him with other rappers, believing every man is his own king. Apart from the usual being on the charts, M.trill has also lent credence to a couple of well known Port Harcourt based artistes, being on "specimen A, De indispensables and Ebiere's albums that all have national recognition.

Thierry Henry Meets Fans at Tommy Hillfiger Store
Thierry Henry greeted fans at Tommy Hilfiger's Paseo de Gracia store in Paris after charity competition. The footballer was at the store on Friday to talk about his charitable institution, ‘THe One 4 All Foundation’, and personally greet the winners of Tommy Hilfiger’s European ’14 Hours in the Footsteps of Thierry Henry’ competition. The competition, which kicked off at the end of September 2007, invited Tommy Hilfiger customers who have purchased the new Men’s Underwear Collection in selected retailers across Europe, to share the 14 things they would most like to do in Barcelona – a number that makes playful reference to Thierry’s number 14 soccer shirt. he winners of the competition received a once-in-a-lifetime tour of Barcelona’s hottest destinations, as chosen by Thierry. They were also given a unique opportunity to personally meet Thierry at the Paseo De Gracia store. The launch of this competition is one in a series of initiatives undertaken by Tommy Hilfiger and Thierry Henry. In December 2006, Tommy Hilfiger signed Thierry Henry, one of the world’s most successful and iconic sportsmen, to be an international brand ambassador in an endorsement agreement for Tommy Hilfiger men’s formal wear and underwear. “I am delighted to have partnered with Tommy Hilfiger,” said Thierry Henry. “It’s always great to have the chance to mix with the Barcelona fans who made me feel so welcome here and meet the competition winners.” “My designs were influenced by the grace and charisma of Thierry Henry, a supreme athlete and an amazing man – each garment in his Capsule Collection captures a little of his spirit,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “I am especially delighted that all profits from the Collection will be donated to Thierry’s charitable institution, ‘THe One 4 All Foundation’, helping him in his fight against racism and social inequality.” Thierry Henry also became the face of a Tommy Hilfiger advertising campaign for Spring and Fall ’07, which debuted in Europe, the United States, Asia and South America. Shot by renowned fashion photographer Nathaniel Goldberg, the campaign captured the relaxed elegance and debonair of the famed French forward and the Thierry Henry Capsule Collection he inspired – a limited edition Collection of tailoring, menswear, formal footwear and underwear geared toward discerning, fashion-conscious men. All sales profits are donated to Thierry’s charitable initiative, ‘THe One 4 All Foundation’. Our very own Kanu Nwankwo has his Kanu Heart Foundation, he and Thierry share a thing with charity and the leather ball. We are calling on more of our international stars to go into charity and help support the underprivileged few. They could do the same thing as Henry has done, that is promoting fashion as well as charity-killing 2 birds with one stone. Their care and support would go a long way.

chic Cyprus
I was browsing the net, and thought I should share this for all would be travellers. Enjoy this piece! Why Cyprus? There’s more to Cyprus than Ayia Napa, R&B and house music. In fact, Cyprus has so much more to offer than a summer of love that it’s difficult to know where to begin. Well, you could start off by visiting the most chic of Cyprus’s options: Pathos and Limassol. People enjoy coming to Pathos all year round because of its traditional villages and also for the appealing temperatures. In the summer it has the lowest climes, and the highest in the winter. Because it is part of the Mediterranean, between May and October the sea temperatures are higher. Cyprus has an ever-changing climate, and within just one hour of driving the temperature can drop by around 5–6°C (10°F).Pathos is an area for people who like a bit of tradition and history mixed in with the mythological adventure that is connected to Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty. What about the food? Sample the delights of halloumi, which is grilled traditional Cypriot cheese. It is typically served with watermelon as a popular Cypriot snack during the summer, offering a sweet and salty taste. Cyprus is a haven for fish lovers. If you’re taking a trip to the Aphrodite baths, be sure to stop off at Pollis in Latchi for a fish meze. The meze consists of fresh, succulent fish including sea bass and swordfish, but the more adventurous can try calamari or octopus. To accompany the fish there’s chips, olives and bread made with garlic and herbs. And, of course, a traditional salad of lettuce, tomato and olives provides the perfect accompaniment. As a lunchtime treat in Limassol be sure to head to the trendy Artima restaurant. It makes the perfect stop after visiting the castle nearby.A dining experience not to be missed is an evening at Aliada, also in Limassol. Don’t be deceived by its average-looking exterior: once inside, it’s transformed into a classy restaurant. The sumptuous food comes complete with pianist and chandeliers. Where to stay For the first part of our five-day trip, we stayed at the exclusive Thalassa Hotel in Pathos (right) which is two hours’ drive from Larnaka airport. The five-star hotel is divided into three parts: families, no kids, and everyone. At night, everyone comes together at the nightclub, which has theme nights. The Thalassa, which prides itself on flexibility, is a popular marital spot, hosting about 300 weddings a year. Another fact worth noting is that it was the first hotel to launch a holistic spa. It offers an array of therapies to treat the mind, body and soul. Each guest can receive a lifestyle consultation. The spa features Ancient Greek specialities using locally produced ingredients with classic therapies inspired by Asian and European techniques. They offer services including pilates, reiki, yoga and life-coaching. The spa also offers saunas and a unisex steam room. There’s an indoor pool and two tranquil relaxation areas where you can sip nutritious fruit juice prepared at the juice bar. Treatments include the Trahana Body Wrap, which is made with domestic oats, goat’s yoghurt, fresh herbs and lavender, mashed together and applied to the body in circular motions as a gentle exfoliant, before you are cocooned in a comforting body wrap, allowing the mixture to nourish and cleanse the skin while your scalp is massaged to relieve stress. For the second half of our trip we stayed at the newly refurbished and beautifully designed Londa, which has an air of sophisticated cool to it. By day, the five-star hotel is a lady, where you can sip afternoon tea as you take in the spectacular views. By night, the Londa puts on its lipstick and dresses up. At the bar you can relax to chilled lounge music as you sip a cocktail and take in the amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea. After my treatments at the luxurious Thalassa Boutique hotel and design-led Londa hotel, I felt like a newborn baby – from the body wrap and head massage, to my rejuvenating pedicure and back massage. Nothing more was needed to repair my overworked body and help me feel and look like a sophisticated woman again. What is worth doing? You can’t visit Cyprus without taking a trip to the Baths of Aphrodite (below). It is 150m (almost 500ft) above sea level and looks like a giant, natural shower. The myth goes like this. Aphrodite was married to an old, ugly crippled man, which was her excuse for being unfaithful to him. After her daily swim in the sea, she would shower here, believing that doing so would bring back her virginity. This is where Adonis fell in love with her and where their love story began. Cyprus was the island of love and beauty in ancient times because of Adonis and Aphrodite. Her birthplace and the bath is an area that the Cypriots want to preserve. Up until three years ago, visitors were allowed to bathe in the pool, but that is no longer permitted. The ramblers among you, though, may take a walk along the Aphrodite Trail. It takes around four to five hours but is not recommended in the summer – unless you go early in the morning – because of the intense heat. While in Limassol you can take a trip to the nearby wine museum. It is based in a renovated house in the western district, where they grow the best grapes. This is southwest of the Troodos Mountains, which receives the most sun. The museum offers the chance to sample the delights of Cyprus’s best wines and 20-year-old brandy. As an appetizer, Cypriots serve zivania, which is good for colds. It tends to be served with nuts. After the meal they drink commandaria, a sweet dessert wine. After the wine tasting, it is hard to resist picking up some treats to take back home! Book flights to Cyprus via Cyprus Airways (www.cyprusairways.com). Stay at the Londa (www.londahotel.com) or the Thalassa (www.thalassa.com.cy).

In her spare time, which has to be very spare, she cooks up tasty African dishes. Can you beat that for a really busy young woman? We need such representatives like this from Nigeria too.
